The Yoshikawa International Symposium on Oxidative Stress for Sustainable Development of Human Beings is dedicated to honoring the lifetime achievements of Prof. Dr. Toshikazu Yoshikawa, a well-known figure in free radical research and anti-aging medicine. His medical expertise spans across various fields such as gastroenterology, free radical science, preventive medicine, food nutrition, disease biomarkers, genomics, proteomics, and lipidomics. Co-chaired by Prof. Haruhiko Inufasa from TIMA and Gifu University, Prof. Christian Amatore from CNRS & PSL, Prof. Hong-Yuan Chen from Nanjing University, Prof. Wei-Hua Huang Wuhan University and Prof. Harry van Goor from UMCG. This symposium will be held as part of the 2020 and 2021 Sustainable Industrial Processing Summit SIPS, an annual event that is deeply science-focused and industrial engineering-oriented, organized by the not-for-profit corporation FLOGEN Stars Outreach https:www.flogen.org, which is dedicated to achieving sustainability through science and technology. It incorporates summit plenary lectures from well-known speakers that address the link between scientific and engineering domains in the pursuit of sustainable development, as well as specific science and engineering symposia that feature technical presentations with the same goals in mind. We have confirmed until now the participation of the following 9 Nobel Laureates: M. Stanley Whittingham, Didier Queloz, Dan Shechtman, Sir Konstantin Novoselov, Aaron Ciechanover, Avram Hershko, Kurt Wuthrich, Ferid Murad, and Sir Richard J. Roberts.
